Our client, a reputable main dealership in Reading, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their team. This Vehicle Technician role offers a competitive basic salary of £36,557 plus bonus, working a Monday to Friday schedule with 45 hours per week and Saturday mornings on a rota.

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
* Conduct comprehensive vehicle servicing and repairs, including diagnostics and warranty work
* Perform routine tasks such as oil changes, cambelt replacements, and electronic health checks
* Complete accurate digital job cards and maintain high standards of quality and safety
* Carry out electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) according to manufacturer standards
* Stay updated with the latest technologies, including electric and hybrid systems, through manufacturer training
* Ensure compliance with safety protocols and product quality standards
Requirements:
* Recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
* Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic within a dealership environment
* Familiarity with warranty, servicing, and repair work
* Knowledge of safety procedures and high workmanship standards
* Full valid MOT licence advantageous but not essential; full training can be provided
* Eagerness to learn and develop technical skills within a progressive dealership
* Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
