Job Description
3. Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
4. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
5. Ensure timely payment of supplier accounts and maintain accurate records.
6. Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes.
7. Communicate with suppliers regarding queries and payment issues.
8. Support the wider accounting & finance team with administrative tasks.
9. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
10. Contribute to process improvements within the purchase ledger function.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:
11. A strong understanding of working in a similar role - Essential
12. Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
13. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
14. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
15. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers and colleagues.
