Join Barclays as a C# Developer where you will help improve the process automation of a large scale programme of loan securitisations. The role requires a good understanding of financial concepts and the ability to think critically.
As a multi-disciplinary team member you will be expected to contribute to coding, system design, database design, documentation and testing of the features you develop. You are expected to find answers through reading documentation, code analysis, data analysis and discussion with non-technical users.
Day-to-day responsibilities include discussing JIRA details with the technical and/or product lead, committing code and unit tests, writing and executing system test plans, collating test data for review with a business user, responding to queries from business users, and proposing solutions to any arising issues.
Responsibilities
* Build and maintain the systems that collect, store, process, and analyse data such as data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes to ensure data accuracy, accessibility and security.
* Build and maintain data architecture pipelines that enable transfer and processing of durable, complete and consistent data.
* Design and implement data warehouse and data lake solutions that manage appropriate data volumes and velocity while adhering to security measures.
* Develop processing and analysis algorithms suitable for the intended data complexity and volumes.
* Collaborate with data scientists to build and deploy machine learning models.
Qualifications
* Experience with C# and T-SQL.
* Experience using Entity Framework.
* Relational database design knowledge.
* Experience with Docker and Git.
* Business analysis skills.
* Good understanding of financial concepts.
* Ability to think critically and independently.
