We are currently seeking a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive specialist school based in the Robertsbridge area. Role: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Robertsbridge, East Sussex Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (term-time only) Start Date: ASAP or after October half term Contract Type: Long-term with the potential to become permanentKey Responsibilities: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your role will involve: Supporting students on a 1:1 or small group basis Assisting the class teacher with tailored learning activities Promoting a positive and nurturing environment for all learners Helping pupils to regulate emotions and behaviour effectively Providing personal care where required and encouraging independenceRequirements: To be considered for the SEN Teaching Assistant role, you should have: Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (desirable but not essential) A patient, resilient and empathetic nature Strong communication and teamwork skills A genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)Why Apply for the SEN Teaching Assistant Role?
