Overview
We’re growing fast – offering career paths for Elite Engineers (Warrant Officer duties) and Non‑Elite Dual Fuel roles focused purely on metering.
Role & What We Need from You
You’ll work predominantly in the commercial sector, ensuring safe and efficient gas and electricity metering services.
* Elite Engineers: undertake friendly debt resolution visits and act as Warrant Officer.
* Non‑Elite Dual Fuel: focus purely on technical metering work – no warrant or debt visits.
* Upskill in areas such as Three‑Phase, Medium Pressure, Half‑Hourly / CT Metering, Gas U16–U40.
* Career progression to Technical Lead, Quality Assessor, Regional Field Manager.
Responsibilities
* Safe installation, commissioning, and maintenance of metering systems and equipment.
* Friendly, professional customer interactions, reflecting our values.
* Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, metering standards, and company procedures.
* Stock, tools, and vehicle care.
* Collaboration with colleagues and management to deliver team and business goals.
* Openness to ongoing development through technical training and mentoring opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
* Smart Metering (Dual Fuel) experience.
* Industry Qualifications: CMA1/CCN1 + MET1 (or equivalent).
* Certificate in Power (Logic or equivalent).
* UK Driving Licence.
* Colour blindness test required.
* DBS check.
Desirable:
* MET4 – Small commercial gas metering.
* CT, Three Phase, REGT1 – Medium Pressure.

Working Hours & Shifts
* 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm.
* Three rotating shift patterns: 6am–3pm, 8am–5pm, 11am–7pm.
* Flexibility and reliability across all shifts essential.
