RSK Group
company is recruiting a
Project Administrator
for our Water Services Major Projects Business Unit. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Administrator to support the planning, coordination, and execution of projects in the water industry. The primary purpose of the role is to support the Project Managers within a multi-disciplinary engineering team by ensuring project documentation is up to date, schedules are maintained, and resources are coordinated effectively. Successful applicants will be able to work flexibly from one of our offices. The ability to travel to Client and Binnies offices is essential.

The Major Projects business unit already contains exciting projects such as Thames Water's SESRO and Anglian Water's Fens and Lincs reservoirs.

The role would be suitable for an individual with a proven track record in the successful delivery of water / engineering projects. You should possess and be able to demonstrate the following qualifications, skills and knowledge:

*Responsibilities*

* Assist with the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
* Organize and participate in project meetings, including preparing agendas, recording minutes, and tracking action items.
* Monitor project progress and ensure deadlines are met by following up with stakeholders.
* Maintain and update project documentation, reports, and change logs.
* Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the smooth execution of projects.
* Support budgeting and cost tracking efforts in coordination with the finance team.
* Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and best practices.
* Assist in risk tracking, issue management, and status reporting.
* Provide general administrative support to the project team.
* Contributing to ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.

Attributes

* Bachelor's degree in engineering technology preferred or any other degree, specialised training, or experience, that makes the individual qualified to perform the roler
* Familiarity with Microsoft office programmes to complete tasks – in particular Microsoft Excel
* Logical and, well organised and able to manage own workload and prioritise
* Numerate, literate
* Good written and verbal communication skills and able to work as part of a team.
* Ability to accurately follow systems and procedures with minimal support (once trained)
* Due to the expanding nature of the work and our business it is likely that key procedures and task will change from time to time so the successful candidate will be able to adapt to a changing environment and procedures.
