An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional and highly experienced candidate to provide operational management and leadership to our community mental health services in Hounslow. The portfolio of services includes both Borough level services and hosts some Trust wide Tri borough services such as; the Hounslow MINT services, Hounslow Clozapine service, Early Intervention Team, West Mid Liaison Psychiatric Service, Community Rehabilitation Service, Individual placement Support, Peer Support Services and the Recovery College. As Local services in West London have now moved to a borough structure, there is opportunity to further improve co-ordination and integration of patient care at Borough level, facilitating better alignment of collaborative working, particularly with patients, Local Authority and other partners. The successful post holder will be an important part of the newly formed senior management team for Hounslow Borough.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a resilient post holder with strong operational experience and skills, an ability to move at pace and can make positive impact on system flow, ensuring our patients receive the right care at the right time.
The successful candidate will have a positive and enthusiastic attitude with a focus on team working and collaboration. You will have clinical expertise and a proven track record of effective people management. You will also need to demonstrate a sound understanding of community, crisis and acute services and the wider landscape.

6. Substantial experience managing mental health nursing and Mental health care at 8b or above
7. Substantial experience in adult/older people or CAMHS services
8. Experience of the development of good relationships across a range of multi-disciplinary key stakeholders
9. Ability to lead and embed substantial change.
10. Experience of working with staff side colleagues to promote good working relations
11. Experience of dealing with risk management both organisational and clinical
12. Ability to work in complex situations and successfully problem solve both proactively, as well as reactively
Desirable criteria
13. Experience of preparing papers and presenting to Board
14. Experience of leading change management projects
Knowledge
Essential criteria
15. Knowledge of the mental health system, policy at national strategic level
16. Knowledge of key legislation that relates to the delivery of mental health services.

18. Good understanding of key deliverables in the contract.
19. Knowledge of Business Intelligence and how to be used to support front line services
