We are currently recruiting for an experienced Home Manager, or a strong Deputy Manager ready to take the next step, to become a Registered Manager for a brand-new children's home.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position as a Registered Manager in a newly established children's home.
We are ideally seeking someone who is already registered or ready to step up based on their proven experience supporting children in care. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations, ensure the highest standards of safeguarding and care, lead a dedicated team, and work closely with external stakeholders to deliver exceptional outcomes for children.
You will be well supported by a team of expert professionals including RI, commercial, placement, and compliance consultants, allowing you to focus on quality care and leadership.
Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager in a children's residential home
* Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and child protection law
* Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills
* Trauma-informed practice and therapeutic care approach
* Relevant qualification in social work, childcare, or a related field
* Ability to build trusting relationships with children who have experienced instability
* Confident in multi-agency working and contributing to care planning
* Proactive in challenging barriers to ensure the best outcomes for every child
