Teaching Personnel is recruiting Secondary School MFL Teachers to teach Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) across a variety of secondary schools. These MFL teacher jobs include both short-term supply teaching and long-term MFL teaching roles, offering flexibility and opportunities for career progression.
We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Secondary MFL Teacher with a strong classroom demeanour and a commitment to delivering high-quality Modern Foreign Languages education. This role is ideal for a teacher who wants to make a real difference by inspiring students to develop language skills, cultural awareness, and confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
Role Responsibilities – Secondary MFL Teacher:
* Teach Modern Foreign Languages (e.g., French, Spanish, German) at KS3 and KS4
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, differentiated MFL lessons
* Maintain effective classroom management and positive behaviour strategies
* Assess, monitor, and support student progress in MFL
* Promote practical communication skills, cultural understanding, and language fluency
Person Specification:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
* Experience teaching Modern Foreign Languages in secondary education
* Confident classroom presence with strong behaviour management skills
* Passion for language teaching, communication, and cross-cultural understanding
* Commitment to raising attainment and supporting student achievement

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
