An established civil engineering contractor with a strong presence across the North East is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to support its growing portfolio of residential groundworks projects. The Role You will be commercially responsible for a number of residential development schemes, working closely with site and operational teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and within budget. Key responsibilities include: Cost management, forecasting, and reporting across multiple sites Procurement and management of subcontractor packages Preparation of valuations, variations, and final accounts Supporting tendering and pricing for upcoming works Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams Driving commercial performance and identifying cost-saving opportunities About You Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering Essential: strong background in residential groundworks / housebuilding civils Working knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts Commercially aware with good negotiation capability xxuwjjq Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and organisational skills What's on Offer £45,000 – £50,000 salary (depending on experience) Car allowance Stable pipeline of regional work Opportunity for progression within a growing business Supportive and collaborative working environment
