This role will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to really make their mark on raising standards across the board in a business which has a successful track record in its sector. THE ROLE The role will suit Shift Managers who recognise “what good looks like” and have a clear understanding of manufacturing principles including SQCDP, people development and lean activities. This understanding is important because a huge amount of work will be focussed on raising standards and targets that will be clear to the shop floor and enable performance improvement. In addition to a good technical understanding of manufacturing principles it is also of equal importance that you can engage the staff, motivate them and inject fun into manufacturing with a competitive edge.
