Our client, a prominent player in the energy sector, is currently looking for a Civil Site Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong civil engineering and site engineering skills, particularly with essential experience in setting out tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Performing site engineering duties and overseeing construction projects within the energy sector
* Setting out, levelling, and surveying the site
* Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards
* Collaborating with site managers, architects, and design engineers
* Managing and monitoring subcontractors' performance and ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to
* Maintaining accurate site records and producing progress reports
* Resolving any technical issues that may arise during the construction process
* Ensuring all materials used and work performed align with specifications
Job Requirements:
* Solid experience in civil site engineering
* Proficiency in setting out, levelling, and surveying
* Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and best practices
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently
* Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Relevant degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification
* Understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction industry
