Your Role As a Post Person with Driving will be the face of Royal Mail in your community, ensuring deliveries are made come rain or shine. You’ll navigate your delivery routes, provide exceptional service, and ensure every parcel and letter reaches its destination safely. Important to Know: while some roles involve driving, the majority of the work is on foot, delivering letters and parcels directly within the community. Responsibilities
Deliver letters and parcels in assigned routes, primarily on foot, with occasional driving where required.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Driving Licence: Full, manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
* Physical Fitness: Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a bag weighing up to 16 kg.
* Flexibility: Shifts can vary; ability to adapt at short notice.
