Job Title: Study Centre Lead Location: North Harbour Campus Salary: Full Time Equivalent £25,410.97 - £26,133.56. About The Role: As the Study Centre Lead you will play a crucial role in overseeing the operations and effectiveness of the study centre here at our Trades-focused Campus. You could be supporting students studying Construction, Bricklaying, Carpentry & Joinery, Plumbing, Electrical and more! You will be responsible for ensuring that students have access to a range of resources, including books, computers and study materials. You will also be collaborating with academic staff to develop programs and services that support student learning and success. Additionally, you may also be involved in budget management, organising workshops or events and implementing processes to enhance the overall learning experience within the college. Key Responsibilities: Management of the day-to-day operations of the study centre at your campus Providing 1:1 study support for Vocational, Technical and GCSE students Collaborate with academic staff to identify and address student learning needs and support academic programmes Deliver workshops/small-group session with a particular focus on Health and Safety principles. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student success and academic achievement To be successful in this role, below is what we would need from you: Background in Health and Safety desirable Experience with delivering sessions or presentations to small groups desirable Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of student needs and learning stylesDeep understanding of educational resources and technologies Proactive and innovative approach to enhancing service delivery Continuous learning and professional development mindset Flexibility and adaptability to meet evolving student needs Commitment to creating inclusive and accessible learning environments Diversity and Inclusion: Equality, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion are central to the work of the College.
