Phlebotomists / HCAs Needed – Greater Edinburgh
Mobile sites across the Lothians
Up to £19 per hour (umbrella) + weekend enhancements

Pulse AHP’s Phlebotomy Team is recruiting experienced Phlebotomists / Healthcare Support Workers to support an established health research programme as it moves into its next phase.
This is a flexible, shift-based role (similar to bank work), ideal if you’re looking for part-time hours or a second role. We’re looking for candidates who can commit to at least 2 days per week within a 7-day service.
The Role
You’ll be working on mobile research units across the Greater Edinburgh area (locations rotate every 5–6 weeks), supporting participants through:
* Venepuncture (2 blood samples per participant)
* Height, weight & waist measurements
* BP and heart rate checks
* Data input onto clinical systems
* Participant welfare checks and escalation where needed
* Preparing samples for courier collection
Essential Requirements
* Minimum 12 months recent phlebotomy experience
* HCA / clinical support experience
* Ability to work 2–3 days per week
* Willingness to register fully with Pulse
* Driving licence highly beneficial due to mobile sites
