The Test Engineering team requires a Senior Hardware Engineer to perform EMC testing and manage our UKAS accredited test facility. Reporting to the EMC Facility Principal Engineer, you will deliver EMC test engineering services to internal and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct EMC testing to standards like MIL-STD-461, DO-160, and EFA EMC
* Test radiated/conducted emissions and susceptibility
* Test airborne products including Radars, ECMs, and Laser Designators
* Participate in the product development lifecycle from pre-compliance to qualification
* Assist in laboratory management and safety procedures
* Manage test equipment calibration and maintenance
* Implement lean 5S practices in the EMC facility
* Manage budget and equipment upgrades
* Write and review test reports and procedures
* Participate in audits and ensure test readiness for customers
* Mentor junior staff and collaborate proactively with colleagues and clients

Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge:
* Degree in Electronics, Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
* Experience with EMC testing per MIL-STD-461, DO-160, and EFA standards
* Proficiency with EMC and RF measurement equipment
* Effective communication skills
* Customer-facing experience is advantageous
* Knowledge of Measurement Uncertainty and quality management systems (ISO17025, AS9100)
* Experience with laboratory setup, calibration, and safety standards like 5S
