The Role: Key Account Manager
As a Key Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of strategic clients. You'll work closely with existing customers to identify growth opportunities, while also developing new business across both established and untapped markets. This is a client-facing role where building trust and long-term relationships is key.
Your Main Responsibilities:
1. Drive profitable sales growth across your customer portfolio
2. Build and maintain strong multilevel relationships with key accounts
3. Identify and develop new business opportunities using WSS tools and databases
4. Collaborate with Technical Sales Managers and Business Development teams to meet shared goals
5. Plan and execute measurable sales activities to achieve set targets
6. Use Salesforce and Power BI to track progress and uncover growth opportunities
7. Ensure accurate CRM data and proactive contract and credit management
8. Foster team spirit and align closely with internal teams including Customer Service, Port Service Engineers, and Technical Solutions
What We’re Looking For:
9. Experience in international B2B sales – ideally technical or maritime
10. A strong commercial mindset and customer-focused approach
11. Background in maritime or marine engineering is a plus (e.g., sailing experience, marine certification)
12. Confident negotiator with a track record of delivering results
13. Comfortable working independently and managing your time effectively
14. Fluent in English
