About The Role
Delivery Drivers play a crucial part of the team within GSF Car Parts. They are the face of our brand by delivering parts to customers and providing excellent customer service. Our Delivery Drivers are important to us, giving customer feedback insights and ensuring we stay committed to delivering goods within the promised time.
As a Delivery Driver working on a zero-hour/casual contract, you will support the branch in covering holidays or absences. You will contribute to the overall success of a high-performing organisation and promote the Company brand through positive interactions with customers.
Main Duties include:
1. Delivering products to customers' premises within a mile radius
2. Ensuring high levels of customer service at all times
3. Providing feedback to the branch on relevant customer and competitor activity
4. Loading your vehicle according to procedures
5. Collecting customer returns as required
6. Performing vehicle maintenance, including daily checks
7. Helping in the warehouse as needed
8. Assisting with Inter-Branch Transfer Deliveries when required
Working hours: Up to (average) hours Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working depending on branch cover needs.
About You
What you'll need to succeed:
1. Full UK Driving Licence with a maximum of 6 points
2. Excellent knowledge of the mile radius of the branch
3. Previous experience as a delivery driver
4. Understanding of the importance of high standards of customer service
5. Ability to work to deadlines with good time management skills
6. Customer-focused, driven to achieve, and willing to go the extra mile
