Responsibilities and duties of the Plant Operator role
Reporting to the Plant Manager you will:
1. Support the safe, efficient daily operation of an anaerobic digestion plant
2. Monitor and optimise performance via the control system
3. Manage material intake and feeding in line with operational plans
4. Record and report plant data and performance metrics
5. Complete routine inspections, checks and basic first-line maintenance
6. Identify and escalate faults or process issues
7. Conduct routine sampling of the organic material and process monitoring
8. Operate the weighbridge and maintain accurate documentation
