Job Title: Senior Residential Care Worker – Children’s Services Location: Stoke Salary: £33,500 - £35,400 including sleep ins Contract Type: Full time – (Days, Evenings, Weekends, Bank Holidays) Requirements Must have a level 3 in childrens residential Must have the right to live and work in the UK Must be over 21 years old Must hold a driving licence Must be able to work long shifts, including evenings and weekends Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent (Health & Social Care – children and young people pathway) Experience working in children’s residential care (minimum 1 year desirable) Strong understanding of safeguarding and children’s welfare About the role As a Senior Residential Care Worker, you’ll take a lead role on shift, supporting and mentoring your team while providing a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for young people. You will help shape care plans, ensure the smooth daily operation of the home, and play a key role in driving quality and positive outcomes for every child in your care.
