Job Purpose

Lead thetechnical deliveryof customer-facing support and managed IT services across enterprise-grade infrastructure, ensuringexceptional service quality,customer satisfaction, andcompliance with vendor collaboration programmes.

You will manageLevel 2+ engineering teamsresponsible for supporting and maintaining critical IT systems — includingfirewalls, storage, virtual machines, and cloud platforms— while working closely with our services product team and technology vendors to design, develop, and deployinnovative service offerings.

Key Responsibilities

Customer-Focused Service Delivery

1. Deliverexceptional technical supportand managed services to external customers.
2. Act as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
3. Build and maintain strong customer relationships, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.

Team Leadership & Management

4. Lead, mentor, and develop Level 2+ technical engineers, promoting a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.
5. Conduct regular performance reviews and create tailored professional development plans.
6. Align team objectives with customer needs and TD SYNNEX’s strategic goals.

Enterprise Infrastructure Oversight

7. Manage support for enterprise-grade technologies includingfirewalls, storage systems, virtual machines, and cloud infrastructure.
8. Ensure systems are maintained to the highest standards of reliability and security.

Vendor Collaboration & Programme Compliance

9. Maintain technical alignment with vendor collaborative programmes.
10. Ensure certification standards and performance metrics are met or exceeded.
11. Leverage vendor partnerships to enhance service offerings and technical capabilities.

Service Development & Deployment

12. Collaborate with the services product team and vendors to design and launch new support and managed services.
13. Provide technical input to ensure operational feasibility and customer value.
14. Lead the rollout of new services, ensuring engineering teams are trained and delivery standards are met.

Operational Excellence

15. Monitor performance against SLAs and KPIs, drivingcontinuous improvement.
16. Implement best practices and SOPs to ensure consistent service quality.
17. Identify and mitigate operational inefficiencies and risks.

Strategic Contribution

18. Work with leadership to shape service strategy and innovation.
19. Provide insights and recommendations to enhance customer experience and delivery models.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Essential:

20. Provenmanagement experienceleading technical teams in IT services or infrastructure support.
21. Strongtechnical backgroundin enterprise IT systems (firewalls, storage, virtualisation, cloud platforms).
22. Excellenttime managementand prioritisation skills.
23. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
24. Experience withPower BIandExcelfor data analysis and reporting.
25. High attention to detail and accuracy.
26. Customer-focused mindset with a track record of delivering service excellence.

Preferred:

27. Knowledge of TD SYNNEX’sproduct and technology portfolio.

28. IT industry knowledge — channel, vendors, programmes, and competitive landscape.

29. Commercial/product experience in a technology business (distribution or vendor experience advantageous).
