Welder Fabricator
£16-17 per hour + DOE
This is a brilliant opportunity to join a well‑established engineering business with a full order book and long‑term prospects.
You'll be working across a diverse range of products and materials including mild steel, sheet metal, with ongoing training available
The Role:
As a Welder Fabricator, you'll be responsible for:
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to manufacture components
Fabricating and welding mild steel, and carbon steel
MIG welding
Operating fabrication machinery such as guillotines, plasma cutters, and rollers
Assembling and tacking fabricated parts including frames, enclosures and assemblies
Maintaining high quality and safety standards in the workshopAbout You:
Experienced in MIG welding
Confident reading and working from engineering drawings
Strong fabrication skills across sheet metal and pipework
Good attention to detail
Able to work independently and use initiative
