You'll have the opportunity to work a varied schedule, which may include regular evenings, nights and weekends, and you'll benefit from paid overtime and/or an out-of-hours allowance in addition to your base salary for any work undertaken during these times.

As this is a safety-critical role with regular travel to sites across the region, you must either live or be able to relocate to within one hour's commutable distance of Basingstoke

Please note that you will be required to drive as part of your role, and you will need to have no more than 3 points to be considered for this position and during employment.

* Providing CAMs with timely feedback on construction progress, risks, early warnings, design issues, and any on-site challenges that need escalating.
* Acting as the key liaison between National Highways and supply chain partners, coordinating delivery programmes and supporting buildability reviews.
* Monitoring works against approved Inspection and Test Plans, making sure hold points, witness points, and quality checks are completed and properly recorded.
* Ensuring contractors provide accurate and complete quality documentation, including test results, material certificates, and as-built records, and raising any non-conformances promptly.
* Ensuring issues are identified early, challenged appropriately, and resolved collaboratively with contractors and internal teams.
* Representing the interests of National Highways on construction/maintenance sites, assuring supplier performance and the completion of planned works to agreed standards, and escalating any concerns to the Construction Assurance Manager or Construction Manager, in line with the agreed governance agreement.

About you
