Tech Lead – Product Engineering

About the Role
Neulinx are recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing SaaS business seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Tech Lead to join their Engineering Leadership Team. This is a key role designed to accelerate their product roadmap as they continue to scale.
You’ll lead a high-performing product engineering team, play a central part in architectural decisions, and mentor talented engineers. Working closely with the CTO and Principal Engineer, you’ll help define the company’s technical direction and build the next generation of their platform.

What You’ll Do
* Lead & Mentor: Provide daily technical leadership and mentorship to a team of senior full-stack, front-end, and mobile developers.
* Accelerate Delivery: Oversee code reviews and ensure timely, high-quality output across the product team.
* Architect & Build: Design and implement complex product features that are scalable, secure, and align with a modern multi-tenant architecture.
* Shape Technical Strategy: Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute the company’s long-term engineering vision.
* Explore AI Innovation: Partner with product and engineering leaders on the design and integration of next-generation AI systems.
About You
You’re a strong technical leader who thrives in product-led environments and enjoys empowering teams to deliver exceptional software.
Core Experience:
* Experienced Technical Leader (10+ years): Proven experience leading engineering teams and mentoring developers within a product-focused setting.
* TypeScript & Node.js Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience building scalable, production-grade applications.
* AI-Driven Development: Comfortable integrating AI into your development workflow and using modern AI-assisted tools.
* Architectural Strength: Solid understanding of multi-tenant SaaS architecture and the ability to guide teams through technical trade-offs.
* Full-Stack Capability: Strong back-end background with professional React or Angular experience.
* Database Knowledge: Skilled in technologies such as PostgreSQL, Redis, and DocumentDB/Mongo.
Bonus Points:
* Experience or interest in AI/LLM frameworks such as LangChain or AWS Bedrock.
* Understanding of data management and pipelines, ideally with AWS Glue or similar tools.

* Backend: Node.js, TypeScript
* Frontend: Angular, transitioning to React + Tailwind + tRPC
