They are seeking a caring, patient, and enthusiastic SEN Early Years Practitioner (Level 2 or 3 qualified) to join their team and provide high-quality support for children aged 0-5 with a range of additional needs.This role is ideal for someone passionate about early childhood development, with a particular interest in supporting children with SEND, including Autism, Speech & Language delay, sensory needs, and social-emotional development.What You'll Be DoingAs an SEN Early Years Practitioner, you will:Support daily routines and learning activities within the early years environmentProvide nurturing, individualised support for children with additional needsHelp create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive settingAssist in planning and delivering age-appropriate, SEN-focused activitiesEncourage children's communication, social interaction, and emotional regulationWork closely with colleagues, SENCOs, and external professionalsCommunicate positively with parents and carersUphold safeguarding, health, and safety policies at all timesWhat We're Looking ForWe'd love to hear from you if you:Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualificationHave experience supporting children in an early years or SEN settingBring warmth, patience, and a child-centred approachUnderstand the EYFS framework and early child developmentCommunicate clearly and kindly with families and colleaguesAre reliable, flexible, and a strong team playerRequirementsTo be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:Have the Right to Work in the UKHold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply)Provide two professional references from the past 24 monthsBe available for full-time hours, Monday to FridayWhat We OfferFree accredited CPD, including safeguarding, behaviour management, and SEN trainingAccess to our dedicated Training & Development TeamOngoing support from a specialist Early Years & SEN consultantReady to Apply?If you're passionate about supporting young children with additional needs and helping them thrive, we'd love to hear from you - please send over an up to date CV for consideration.
