Purpose of the role: The role of a Strategic Sales & Marketing Director is to build and grow internal and external relationships in order to help the business to grow revenues and increase profits. As well as leading sales and client-relationship management, the Strategic Sales & Marketing director will track new markets and trends, recommend new products and services, grow new strategic partnerships, write proposals, and helps guide the long-term objectives to meet business requirements. The Strategic Sales and Marketing will carry out most of your work with the support of the Sales & Marketing teams. You will also work across multiple teams and be involved in leading strategic development across the organisation. Knowledge & Experience To be experience in working with senior management to align sales strategies and solutions. To have a proven track record in selling solutions to a variety of industrial applications. To have a minimum of five years’ previous experience in a similar role. To be experienced in product and service sales. To hold excellent negotiation skills, proven track record of successfully pitching for new business. To have proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads. To hold experience in Internet of Things (IOT), Industry 4.0, solutions for smart factories, smart infrastructure, intelligent plant, big data/analytics, digital twins.
