The Red Triangle Snooker & Pool Club is a well-loved bar and facility based within Cumbernauld Town Centre. We are looking for someone with can do attitude who can motivate the team and ensure our loyal and new customers always have a great experience. We are encouraging applications from those with confidence to assist the Bar Manager and other Key Holders in the day-to-day operation of the Club. Flexibility and lone working are key components of this position with daytime, evening and weekend shifts. Full training in Keyholder duties will be provided.
Typical duties are as follows:-
* communication with the Bar manager with daily checks of inventory and stock checks.
* Performing administrative duties and ensuring that the rules established by the bar are followed at all times.
* Overseeing the training of staff under the guidance of the Bar manager.
* Overseeing daily bar operations including opening and closing procedures, ensuring all equipment functions properly and the bar area remain clean and well-organised.
* Open and close duties within the club including cashing up at end of the shift.
* Creating a warm and welcoming environment for members and guests.
* Meeting, greeting and serving members and their guests in a polite, friendly, speedy and professional manner.
* Changing kegs, overseeing the cellar, taking deliveries and restocking the bar.
* a people person- your knack for dealing with people is top-notch. Your communication skills and leadership style brings out the best in everyone. The kind of person to get the team firing on all cylinders.
* Adaptable- things can get busy, but you thrive on it. An ability to think fast on your feet and adapt to whatever comes your way.
BAR EXPERIENCE 2 YEARS +
SUPERVISOR EXPERIENCE 2 YEAR+
Must have cash handling experience
PERSONAL LICENSE - Not required, would be an advantage
