About the Role
As an English Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
* Teaching English across Key Stages 3–5, including GCSE and A-Level.

* Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and setting clear learning objectives.
* Contributing to curriculum development, resource creation, and departmental initiatives.
* Leading or supporting enrichment activities such as reading clubs, writing competitions, and school productions.
* Creating a stimulating, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
* Collaborating with colleagues across the department and school to share best practice and support school-wide initiatives.
Experience and Qualifications
* Degree in English, English Literature, or a related discipline.
* PGCE or QTS qualification.
* Experience teaching English at secondary level, including GCSE and A-Level.
* Strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and effective communication.
