The Role
The Social Media Manager will interpret and implement the social vision across a broad range of agency clients and projects. The ideal candidate will understand how to use social media to connect brands to their audiences through impactful and innovative ‘social first’ content and storytelling. This role will sit within the social media team, working closely with the creative team. Day-to-day responsibilities include strategy, ideation, and creation of best-in-class social media content, relationship building with key clients, and leading social innovation within Feref. As we are expanding the social team, this person will play a key role in championing and leading this growth.

Responsibilities
Overarching Strategy
* Define, plan, and implement social strategies that align with client business needs, including content format and platform recommendations.
* Develop social media campaigns across TikTok, YouTube, IG, Meta, Twitter/X, Snap, etc.
* Lead campaign ideation and planning, including decks, working closely with creative team members.
* Interpret client briefs and expectations to produce effective campaigns.
* Set KPIs and make recommendations based on industry and consumer insights.
* Develop creative briefs and liaise during creative ideation.
* Lead talent ideas and junket recommendations for campaigns.
* Manage social strategies for existing clients and new business pitches.
* Present strategies to clients via clear slide presentations.
Day to Day
* Collaborate seamlessly within the creative department.
* Support client and campaign needs.
* Ideate on social strategy and content, briefing AV & design teams to create assets.
* Develop social briefs based on platform insights and audience data.
* Build relationships with Meta, TikTok, and Twitter.
* Implement test-and-learn social strategies for key clients.
* Measure and analyze campaign success.
* Translate social data into actionable insights.
* Suggest content improvements during campaigns.
* Define key social KPIs for campaigns.
Internal
* Lead strategy and content planning for Feref’s social channels.
* Lead social training and development within the agency.
* Stay updated on social media trends and technologies.
* Create and post engaging content for Feref’s social channels.
* Ensure consistent tone of voice aligned with Feref’s brand.
Required Experience and Key Skills
* 5+ years in film & entertainment within a creative social media environment, ideally with family/entertainment brands.
* Proven experience as a social media copywriter or similar role.
* Experience liaising with cross-functional teams to deliver creative briefs and manage project timelines.
* Experience briefing and collaborating with designers for social content creation.
* Strong analytical skills to identify cultural and creative trends.
* Experience editing social media content; familiarity with Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
* Ability to work independently and in small teams.
* Experience with entertainment clients is advantageous.
* Interviewing talent or directors experience is a plus.
* Personal qualities: ambitious, positive, energetic, team-oriented.
* Self-starter capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
