We are looking to recruit a pool of Visiting Lecturers in Computing to be available to provide assistance on our popular Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes.
Located in a modern £300M campus in the heart of Birmingham, the Faculty of Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment is a thriving, vibrant, and inspiring learning community committed to excellence in research, high quality teaching and impactful industrial engagement.
We are looking to recruit a pool of Visiting Lecturers to be available to provide assistance on our popular Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes.
Building on continuous success in student growth and in sustained advancement of research activities, the Faculty has embarked on a programme of extensive expansion funded by substantial long-term investments. The Faculty is looking to appoint Visiting Lecturers in Computer Science, Computer Networks, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Data Science & Analytics, Human-Computer Interaction, Games Development, along with other topics allied to our current portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Computing.
Opportunities exist for duties related to our transnational education activity. The successful candidates should have extensive teaching experience in Computing or bring equivalent significant experiential learning from business and industry. Training can be provided.

Visiting Lecturer posts are paid hourly and there are a range of pay rates dependant on the role. As and when relevant teaching hours become available that your CV and experience are suitable for, you will be contacted by the Faculty directly to discuss in more detail. Please be aware that you are not guaranteed to hear back from the Faculty.
