Job Description
3. Prepare and maintain lab schedule and resources to ensure successful application tests.
4. Set up the machines in the lab for the demonstration.
5. Perform demonstrations with/without Robots and ensure that all test reports and associated documentation is completed.
6. Ensure demonstration equipment cleanout and storage.
7. Ensure that all lab activities ( demonstrations, sales visits, training, etc.) are properly documented.
8. Maintain lab log that will include number of demonstrations, demonstration type ( material supplier, marketing, or distributor) and sales generated by these lab activities.
9. Keep updated on new products and applicable technology from all divisions.
10. Ensure proper handling and disposal of all chemicals used in the lab.
11. Maintain lab equipment including assembly and repair.
12. Train and guide lab technicians
13. Create procedures and work instructions as needed to operate the lab.
14. Maintain a clean, safe and efficient lab environment.
15. Conduct training on operation and maintenance of Graco products to distributor and end customers.
16. Manage and maintain lab inventory.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Technical Service Engineer should have:
17. Diploma/ Degree in Electronics engineering, Technology, or a related field.
18. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), automation.
19. Able to operate robots.
20. 5+ years' experience in application lab environment.
21. Willingness to learn equipment assembly and repair.
22. Experience with industrial fluid handling products.
23. Knowledge of general lab practices and equipment.
24. Ability to travel to customer sites approximately 20% of the time
