Overview of Role/Principle Responsibilities:



As an Analyst within a multi-skilled EMEA Fund Mandates team, you will play a key supporting role in the operational and reporting activities across fund processing, provider oversight, regulatory compliance, and private and complex asset operations. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will assist with a variety of tasks such as reconciliations, NAV calculations, transaction monitoring, reporting preparation, and control checks. You will gain exposure to multiple areas of fund operations, develop technical and industry knowledge, and contribute to the delivery of robust governance and high-quality client outcomes. The role provides an ideal foundation for developing broader expertise within asset management operations, supporting rotation between specialisms and building the skills needed for future progression in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

By fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and driving continuous improvement, you will ensure the highest standards of governance, client outcomes, and regulatory compliance are maintained throughout all aspects of fund accounting and transfer agency operations. This role requires a highly autonomous and solutions-focused individual with a proven ability to analyse and resolve problems both independently and collaboratively. Strong communication, relationship management, and change leadership skills are essential, as is the ability to balance strategic thinking with attention to detail in a dynamic, evolving environment.

Interact with an array of departments across Schroders and our outsourced partners, building key links with our Investment, Compliance, Tax and Transaction Services colleagues. The role holder will thrive in a fast-paced environment with an emphasis on meeting tight deadlines. A strong interest in learning and harnessing technology will help you with your role in the organisation.



Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in the accurate and timely processing of daily fund operations, including NAV calculations, income distributions, cash movements, capital activity, and expense postings.
* Prepare and review reconciliations of cash and asset positions, supporting the investigation of breaks and contributing to prompt resolution of outstanding items.
* Support the preparation and compilation of regulatory reports (e.g., CASS/CMAR), board/investor reporting packs, and management information.
* Help maintain and update operational controls such as exception logs, checklists and daily controls, escalating issues where appropriate.
* Participate in routine checks on third-party administrator outputs, assisting in the validation of data and the review of service levels.
* Carry out tasks associated with fund lifecycle events, such as launches and closures, class actions, distributions and capital calls, under the guidance of senior team members.
* Engage with colleagues to resolve queries, seek clarification on complex tasks, and work collaboratively on solutions.
* Support process improvement initiatives, including the testing of system enhancements and documentation of new procedures.
* Maintain accurate, auditable records in accordance with policies and assist in the completion of audit or regulatory requests.
* Embrace opportunities for structured rotation within the team, building knowledge and experience across a range of operational and technical focus areas.

Discharge of responsibilities
The role holder shall ensure that all their responsibilities are performed to the highest levels of integrity, quality and transparency and in a manner most likely to promote the success of the Schroders Group, taking into account the interests of key stakeholders including clients, employees, regulators, suppliers and society as a whole. In discharging their responsibilities, the individual shall establish appropriate oversight and control structures for all areas under their control where needed.

Reporting Obligations

In discharging their responsibilities, the role holder shall

* Ensure that Head of Fund Mandates - EMEA is made aware of any issues which the Fund Mandate Analyst deems material
* Provide to the Fund Mandate Analyst an annual assessment of their own performance against objectives agreed with them

Where applicable, the role holder must fulfil his/her responsibilities for their Committee Memberships

EMEA Fund Mandates Operational Oversight: An Integrated, Modular Approach
The Fund Mandates team operate as a set of interconnected multi skilled teams with deep expertise in CASS/regulatory reporting, private and complex asset solutions, fund lifecycle event management, and outsourced control oversight. While each role requires technical specialism from day one, we are transitioning to a multi-skilled, flexible operating model, facilitated by structured cross-training and rotational activity across the full fund mandate lifecycle. This ensures robust continuity, consistent standards, and agile response to evolving business requirements.

Cross-team Development and Flexibility:
The modular approach enables all team members—through rotation and development—to build expertise in each domain, strengthening end-to-end service continuity and providing broad exposure across fund operations, regulatory compliance, and provider management. This continuous learning culture ensures the function can pivot to new business and market demands, while preserving rigorous governance, technical excellence, and superior client outcomes.



The integrated activities across the teams are summarised below:



Fund Processing & Lifecycle Management

* Oversight of all operational processes from daily NAV production, income distribution, and swing pricing through to complex fund events such as launches, mergers, and closures.
* Expense accrual and budget management throughout the fund lifecycle, including fund distribution and maintenance of all key dealing calendars and event schedules.
* Operational reporting deliver delivery covering fact sheets, KIIDs and other regulatory reporting while progressing process automation, system enhancements, and regulatory change and ensuring high standards of control.

Outsourced Provider Control & Governance

* Direct oversight of third-party administrators for daily NAV accuracy, error management, and compliance with regional regulatory and disclosure obligations.
* Performance review and risk-based due diligence (ODD/IDD) of providers, proactive issue escalation, and action planning to maintain operational resilience and audit-ready standards.
* Collaboration with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and other departments to embed regulatory changes and continuous improvement in provider oversight, with a strong focus on Consumer Duty and transparency.

Regulatory & Client Asset Oversight

* End-to-end ownership and interpretation of CASS (Client Assets Sourcebook) rules and related FCA regulatory guidance for all EMEA business lines, acting as technical SME and governance lead.
* Coordination and oversight of CASS register maintenance, regulatory reporting (including CMAR), audit management, breaches, aged client money, AEOI obligations, and robust due diligence across outsourced transfer agency.
* Driving compliance standards on client due diligence, financial crime reporting and continuous monitoring of regulatory change with direct stakeholder engagement.

Private & Complex Asset Operations

* Delivery of bespoke accounting and transfer agency solutions for private equity, real assets, ILS, LTAFs, and other non-standard fund structures, with specialist focus on complex capital calls, carry/waterfall models, and unique client terms.
* Management of fund and investor reporting, adaptation to evolving regulatory frameworks, and support for new product launches, with ongoing process enhancement and automation projects.
* Technical escalation and subject matter input for transaction processing, recording, valuation, and the development of team expertise in bespoke fund structures.
