Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 or day rate equivalent
Apointe are exclusively partnered with a well-established and high-performing business headquartered in Leicester to appoint a Interim Financial Reporting Manager This is a high-profile opportunity to join at a pivotal time, working directly with the CFO and senior stakeholders.
The Opportunity
As Interim Financial Reporting Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of group financial reporting. You'll own the preparation and review of statutory and management accounts, strengthen internal controls, and provide the analysis and insights that drive strategic decision-making.
This is not a back-office role, you'll work closely with the wider business, auditors, and senior leadership, developing a reputation as a trusted advisor on complex reporting matters.
What You'll Do
* Lead the preparation and review of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
* Ensure full compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS standards.
* Partner with auditors and manage the external audit process.
* Support group budgeting and forecasting cycles.
* Deliver clear financial analysis to influence business performance.
* Implement and enhance financial reporting processes and controls.
* Collaborate across the business to resolve complex accounting and reporting challenges.
What We're Looking For
* Qualified Accountant (ACA,ACCA)
* Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and listed-company reporting.
* Proven track record in financial reporting and analysis.
* Experience managing and developing people.
* Commercially minded with the ability to interpret transactions and assess accounting impact.
