Job Purpose
A Systems Accountant is a finance technology specialist who bridges the gap between finance and digital innovation. Acting as a key enabler of transformation, the Systems Accountant ensures that financial processes are efficient, accurate, and future-ready.

4. Act as the subject matter expert for SPS Finance System (Unit4 ERP, RAM Asset Management), ensuring optimal configuration and utilisation.
Data Analytics & Insight Generation
5. Design and deliver dynamic dashboards and reports using Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics 365 to provide real-time insights for decision-makers.
6. Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable intelligence for senior stakeholders.
Training & Change Enablement
7. Lead training programmes for finance teams across all establishments, promoting adoption of new tools and best practices.
8. Serve as a change champion, supporting cultural and process shifts towards digital-first finance.
Governance & Compliance
9. Ensure all system changes and processes comply with internal control frameworks, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
10. Maintain robust documentation and audit trails for system developments.
