We are currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive KS1 team at a well:regarded primary school in Wigan. This is a full:time role starting ASAP, ideal for someone who is passionate about education and child development.
Your Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
Work closely with the class teacher to support daily teaching and learning Provide one:to:one and small group support for pupils who need additional help Assist with phonics, reading, writing, and numeracy activities Help maintain a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment Contribute positively to the wider school community
What Were Looking For
Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting, ideally within KS1 A calm, patient, and supportive approach Strong communication and teamwork skills A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) A proactive attitude and commitment to supporting childrens development
