We are recruiting Registered Nurses for our Community Nurse Bank to support Community Nursing Teams across Wirral.
The Bank supports ongoing service provision during absences, vacancies, or workload surges.
Experience is desirable but not essential. You should be motivated and capable of delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing care within the community to meet the needs of housebound patients. Good communication skills and the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively are essential, especially in close coordination with rapid response teams, Community Matrons, and social services to ensure seamless patient care.
Wirral Community NHS Foundation Trust provides structured mandatory training, a comprehensive induction, and local orientation. There are excellent in-house training opportunities for further development.
Access to a car and a full driving license are essential.
