Role Description
This is a volunteer role for a Director of Finance at NexYouth, requiring a hybrid working arrangement based in Sheerness with the flexibility to work remotely for certain tasks. The Director of Finance will oversee financial management, including budgeting, financial planning, and reporting to support the organization's strategic goals. Responsibilities include preparing and analyzing financial statements, monitoring expenses, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role will also involve providing insight and advice on financial sustainability and funding opportunities for the organization.
Qualifications
* Experience with Financial Planning and expertise in managing Financial Statements
* Strong Analytical Skills and a comprehensive understanding of Finance
* Proficiency in preparing and reviewing Financial Reporting
* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
* Familiarity with non-profit finance management is advantageous
* Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
* Excellent attention to detail and integrity in handling financial data
* Qualifications such as a relevant degree or prior experience in finance or accounting are beneficial
