Glossop Caravans has grown to be one of the largest new and used caravan and motorhome dealerships in the country. We've grown from small beginnings back in 1976 to become a one-stop shop with a huge range of 600 new and used caravans – plus awnings, accessories, and comprehensive annual service checks and repairs.
The ideal candidate will be well-organised, work well within a team, have excellent problem-solving skills, and take pride in providing an exceptional level of personal service and customer care.
The role includes, but is not limited to:
Main Duties:
•Carrying out general tasks assigned by the Production Manager.
•When requested, act as a second man / escort driver (training provided) to assist delivering static caravans to sites or customers (This will involve some overnight stays)
•Any other general maintenance, repair, assembly and fitting work as required.
•Clearing debris and ensuring site is tidy and safe
•Operating hand machineries, such as drills and power tools
•Clearing out statics in preparation for refurbishment
•Loading and unloading deliveries
•Following best practice guidelines and ensuring others adhere to them
•Cleaning and maintaining equipment
•Operating forklift trucks and lifting machinery, practising site safety and safe manual handling
•Assisting other colleagues when requested
•Driving company vehicles when required
•A flexible approach to hours worked, including overtime and shift patterns, and job rotation.

Work Schedule:
•Monday to Friday 07.30am-16.00pm - 40 hours per week
•2 x 15-minute breaks and 1 x 30-minute lunch break
•Overtime available where required
•Overnight stays where applicable
