Secondment/Fixed term opportunity until March 2026 due to service delivery. *Secondment Opportunity – Existing permanent employees must first discuss this opportunity with their substantive line manager and complete the secondment request form prior to interview. The secondment request form and the associated secondment policy can be found on the HR/Recruitment intranet pages and must be completed and signed by the substantive line manager. The Candidate should then take it with them to interview as confirmation that an agreement has been granted. A highly motivated individual is required to work within Stenhousemuir Health Centre to provide support to the Administration Services Co-ordinator and District Nursing staff within Falkirk HSCP. This is a demanding post with varied and diverse duties which require attention to detail and accuracy. A team player with a flexible approach to work is essential. The successful applicant will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages with relevant experience in an administration or secretarial environment. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills and the ability to work unsupervised with a methodical approach are essential. The ability to prioritise your own workload in order to meet the demands of the department and work to tight and conflicting deadlines is essential. Experience of minute taking, SSTS (Scottish Standard Time System), E-expenses, Pecos and office procedures within a healthcare setting would be desirable. The successful applicant will be required to cover for other members of the department when required, which will include travel and working in other health centres. You should be educated to ‘O’ grade or equivalent in Secretarial Studies/English/Arithmetic with an SVQ II in Administration. Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post The duties of this post require the successful candidate to complete a Level 2 Disclosure Scotland check.
