Pinewood School seeks to appoint an outstanding Deputy Head for September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to join our thriving Prep School on the Senior Leadership Team, driving academic excellence and delivering superb pastoral care. The school sits on 84 acres of rolling countryside on the border between Wiltshire and Oxfordshire, offering a quality, family‑based, co‑educational day and boarding environment for over 400 children aged 3‑13.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Head Teacher in the overall management of the school, including curriculum delivery and pastoral care.
* Lead on academic improvement and the implementation of school policies.
* Build excellent relationships with parents, pupils, and staff, fostering a supportive learning environment.
* Represent the school in a range of external engagements.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Demonstrated enthusiastic and imaginative approach to teaching and learning.
* Ability to quickly build and maintain professional relationships.
* Experience in senior leadership roles within a prep or primary school.
* Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
Interview Process and Timeline
