We're now looking for a Transport First Line Manager to support the day‑to‑day running of our transport operation.
✅WHAT YOU'LL DO
* Manage day‑to‑day transport activities on shift, helping ensure deliveries run safely, on time, and in line with plan.
* Promote and follow safe working practices, ensuring compliance with transport, health, and safety procedures at all times.
* Support, coach, and engage drivers and colleagues, creating a positive and inclusive team environment.
* Track day‑to‑day performance, deal with issues as they arise, and escalate concerns where needed to keep the operation running smoothly.
✅WHAT YOU'LL BRING
* Transport or logistics experience, ideally with some leadership responsibility
* Have excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
* Comfortable using Excel, PowerPoint, and other digital tools
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with drivers, colleagues, and wider operational teams
* A proactive, safety‑focused mindset, able to follow procedures, address issues quickly, and escalate where needed
