The Opportunity
We're recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established, highly respected global manufacturing company based in Birstall. This is an ideal role for someone with strong electrical and mechanical skills who wants a secure, hands-on engineering position with great benefits and ongoing training.

Key Responsibilities
* Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance
* Fault-find and maintain PLC/computer-controlled machinery
* Work on pneumatic and hydraulic systems
* Mechanical duties: fitting, welding, pipework, plumbing
* Support continuous improvement and engineering reliability
* Ensure safe working practices across the site

Skills & Experience Needed
* Recognised electrical or mechanical apprenticeship
* 5+ year's engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
* Strong knowledge of PPM, fault finding, and machine maintenance
* Experience with PLCs, pneumatic, hydraulics, mechanical systems
* Strong communication & good understanding of Health & Safety
* Proactive, reliable, and team-focused approach
* Able to work the following rotating shifts:
o Week 1: Mon-Thurs 06:00-14:00 | Fri 06:00-12:00
o Week 2: Mon-Thurs 13:45-21:45 | Fri 11:45-17:45
