TEFL Teacher – EAL Support & Cross-Curricular Teaching (L17)
Location: Liverpool L17 Contract Type: Initially Temporary – Potential for Permanent Placement Start Date: As soon as possible
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and adaptable TEFL-qualified teacher to join a vibrant and inclusive school community in the L17 area. This role focuses on supporting EAL (English as an Additional Language) students across key stages, helping them thrive academically and socially. In addition to EAL support, you’ll have the opportunity to teach across other subjects depending on your strengths and the school’s needs.

Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver engaging and effective English language lessons to EAL students
2. Support language acquisition and integration across the curriculum
3. Collaborate with subject teachers to scaffold learning for EAL pupils
4. Teach other subjects as required (e.g., Humanities, PSHE, or Literacy)
5. Monitor progress and contribute to individual learning plans
6. Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment
✅ Requirements
7. TEFL, TESOL, CELTA or equivalent qualification
8. Experience working with EAL learners in a school setting
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
10. Flexibility to teach across subjects and year groups
11. A genuine passion for education and student development
