What is required from you?
* A minimum of 12 months right to work in the UK
* Management qualification at QCF level 4 or equivalent, or willingness to work towards this qualification
* QCF level 4 or higher in Health & Social Care or equivalent
* Previous registration in a residential service (preferable)
* Up-to-date knowledge of the care sector, including running a care home and understanding regulatory frameworks
* Excellent leadership and management skills
* Experience working with vulnerable client groups
A day in the life of a Registered Manager
As the Registered Manager, you will lead your team to provide a safe, caring, responsive, and effective service for residents, ensuring compliance with all CQC regulations and meeting operational and quality assurance KPIs.
Your responsibilities include:
* Ensuring residents are informed of their care and treatment options, promoting choice, dignity, and individuality
* Reviewing and adapting care plans to meet residents' current physical and mental health needs, collaborating with residents, staff, health professionals, and social workers
* Conducting audits to monitor service quality and taking corrective actions when necessary
* Implementing effective risk assessments to safeguard residents and ensure safety
* Inducting new staff and providing ongoing training, motivation, supervision, and support to existing staff
* Managing disciplinary procedures as needed
* Staffing the home effectively, including contingency planning for unexpected absences
* Investigating complaints related to safeguarding, abuse, or service delivery, and ensuring proper notifications are made
