HGV Class 1 Driver - Temp to Perm Location: DoncasterShift Pattern: (days, no weekends)Occasional Tramping: £26 per night out allowanceHourly Rate: £18 per hourAbout the role:We are looking for Class 1 HGV drivers to join our client based in Doncaster, a leading manufacturer and distributor of plastic piping systems for the construction industry. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable company that provides high-quality products across the UK.Key responsibilities:Operating Class 1 HGV vehicles to transport goods to various locations across the UKEnsuring deliveries are completed on timeMaintaining a high standard of vehicle cleanliness and conducting routine checksCompleting delivery paperwork and ensuring accuracy of recordsRepresenting the company with a professional attitude when interacting with clients and the publicWhat we are looking for :Class 1 licencePrevious experience as a Class 1 HGV driver (preferred, but not essential)Ability to work efficiently under pressure and to deadlinesStrong attention to detail, especially in relation to safety and complianceGood communication skills and a customer-focused approachWhy work for Driver Hire:Driver Hire Doncaster is part of Driver Hire Nationwide, the UKs largest specialist transport and logistics recruiter.
