Dundee Football Club have an exciting opportunity within the football department available and the window for applications is now open.
The club are looking for a professional, motivated and dedicated individual to head the goalkeeping department in an essential role within the club.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage Dundee Football Club’s goalkeeping department.
* To oversee all aspects of the daily training, match preparation, in game coaching, and post-match analysis of
* First Team & Development Squad goalkeepers.
* Identification and analysis of emerging & established goalkeepers that meet the club’s strategic vision.
* Liaise with the Head Coach/Coaching Staff/Technical Director to identify the requirements of the First Team
* & Development Squad goalkeepers at Dundee Football Club.
* Attend scheduled meetings and provide reports/updates of development of goalkeepers to the Head Coach
* /Coaching Staff/Technical director.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clubs, agents and other influential contacts within the game to assist the goalkeeping department.
* Prepare the goalkeepers technically, tactically and physically for First Team and Development Squad matches including conducting warm-ups.
* Upholding and promoting the club’s policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, Safeguarding and Equal Opportunities policies and procedures.
* Adhere to protocol and respect confidentiality in all matters.
Experience
Essential
* UEFA B License and UEFA A Goalkeeping
* Experience and understanding of and commitment to utilising data analysis tools and software.
* Experience of working in professional football at First Team & Academy level.
* Committed, enthusiastic and passionate about the development of goalkeepers.
* Able to adapt to the demands of the job and needs of players and staff.
Desirable
* UEFA A License
* Proven track record of being part of successful GK recruitment (purchases or loan agreements).
* Proven track record of being part of successful GK development in Academy and First Team.
* Efficiently managed the budget for the goalkeeping department.
* Evidence of ongoing CPD and a desire to learn from other clubs/sports.
