Vascular Clinical Nurse Specialist

Victoria Hospital, covering all of Fife
Salary/Banding
Band 6 (pro‑rated for 13.5 hours per week, part‑time)
Hours
13.5 hours per week (permanent, mainly Monday‑Friday with occasional evening or weekend work)
Who we are looking for
Open to NHS Fife employees only – you must be currently employed by NHS Fife.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide advice and support to individuals throughout Fife as in‑patients and out‑patients, covering a range of community and specialist settings.
* Maintain a constant presence across Fife sites, acting in a nurse‑led hub capacity.
* Apply advanced practice principles across all four pillars of advanced nursing practice.
* Liaise with staff in other clinical areas to deliver integrated care.
* Travel around Fife, and occasionally beyond, to meet clinical needs.
* Utilise effective verbal and electronic communication skills to support multidisciplinary teamwork.
Qualifications & Experience
* Registered Nurse with a strong interest in vascular disease care.
* Substantial post‑registration experience; a degree level qualification is preferred.
* Experience caring for arterial and venous disease and wound care is advantageous (training will be provided).
* Willingness to undertake self and formal assessment and advanced-level training as required by the service.
* Availability to work flexibly, including travel and occasional evening or weekend hours.
* Commitment to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme prior to appointment.
