Commercial Manager – Design Events
We are partnering with a leading, well-established design events company to recruit a talented Commercial Manager. This is a senior role offering the opportunity to drive revenue, manage key client relationships, and contribute to the continued success of a high-profile design event.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Divisional Director, you will take ownership of the commercial strategy for the event, overseeing both stand revenue and sponsorship sales. You will manage and grow client relationships, develop new business opportunities, and work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of the event.
Key Responsibilities
* Achieve individual and team sales targets for both stand revenue and sponsorship
* Develop and manage a robust pipeline of leads with accurate forecasting and reporting
* Grow existing client relationships while identifying and securing new business opportunities
* Oversee floorplans and ensure high-quality client engagement throughout the event
* Coordinate with marketing, operations, production, and finance teams to deliver seamless events
* Represent the company professionally at industry events, including weekends as required
* Travel internationally to attend design events, build client relationships, and stay ahead of industry trends
