Compliance Manager (Lloyds Market Insurance) About the Role A key role in managing the day to day running of a London Market Compliance function Responsibilities To deputise the Head of Compliance in ensuring that appropriate controls, processes, and policies are in force and are effective To deputise for Head Compliance in relation to all tasks and to manage and develop the skills and knowledge of direct reports. Oversee the design, implementation and maintenance of appropriate and effective compliance policies & procedures Provide proactive guidance on regulatory compliance matters Support adherence to conduct management requirements Play a key role in the day-to-day activities of the compliance function Support the delivery and ongoing development of a robust compliance framework Conduct sanctions-related due diligence Manage the business timetable of regulatory returns Work closely with the governance team to maintain compliance with the Senior Managers & Certification Regime Support the design and delivery of compliance training Act as secretary for designated governance groups, to be advised, including coordination of papers, minuting, and tracking actions Qualifications 5 years experience in a compliance function in the Lloyds and/or London market Required Skills Driven individual motivated by helping to build the business with a "can do" attitude Strong organisational, interpersonal and people management skills Confident decision-maker with sound problem-solving capabilities Ability to build effective working relationships and communicate at all levels
