Role - Interim Senior Financial Accountant
Location: Appleton (3 days on-site) Rate: £350-£500 per day Start: Immediate
The Opportunity
An established asset management business is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to support the finance function during a period of increased activity. This is a hands-on interim role, ideal for an accountant who can add value quickly within a fast-paced, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation and review of monthly management accounts
Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close
Support statutory reporting and audit processes
Assist with financial controls, policies, and process improvements
Partner with internal stakeholders to provide accurate financial information
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal controls
Candidate Profile
(ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
Strong financial accounting background, ideally within asset management or financial services
Proven experience in interim or contract roles
Strong Excel skills and confidence working with finance systems
Able to work independently and hit the ground running
Comfortable working on-site 3 days per week in Appleton
